I had a haircut and style with the lovely Tiffany Lee today. I had not had my hair cut or colored in 7 months so this was not an easy task as my hair was in rough shape. The salon is clean and relaxing with beautiful classical piano music playing in the background. Usually salons have blasting dance music which gives me a headache. Tiffany listened to what I had in mind and did not judge me since I couldn’t have my hair colored at this time. She gave me an exquisite haircut, styled it beautifully and even applied a temporary color spray which magically covered up all my grey. I walked out of there feeling like a new woman. Tiffany is a true artist and lovely to deal with all around. To top it off, the price was amazing! I’ll definitely be sticking with Tiffany Lee Hair Design from now on. It was a pleasure.Services: Haircut

I don't write many reviews and when I do I try to only write good ones. I feel however I need to put this out there. They did horrible damage to my hair with the Japanese straightener. I have had it done in queens and wanted to stay close to home this time. Big mistake!! They applied the first stage, the timer went if at 20 min, they were busy so they turned the timer and had me sit there for 10 more minutes before the process was washed out. This burned my hair causing the damage. When they brushed it out they took 4 full brushes or hair out with each swipe. I have NEVER lost hair like this. My hair line around my face is receded back and bald in a few places. This is going to take years to fix, to have all my hair back to a reasonable length. I will not ever go back.

My boy had just finished his hair done with Tiffany. She is amazing!!! My boy can't stop smiling and looking at the mirror. His hair just turned out to K-pop star's. Exactly what he has wanted to.We always went to city to do my and my kids hair, but after our old hair stylist quit last year and our nightmare started. We started to look for a right person, but that wasn't easy because our old hair stylist was so talented. My boy wanted to cry every time he had a cut with new ones. He asked me to bring the old one back. One of my friends told me "Have you tried Tiffany's? She is really good". Well, I didn't have time to go to City anyways, so I gave it a try for my boy. The space was a little small and a little dated. However Once she started to cut...Wow... we finally found one. she is the one. I can't believe we had been to city all the time not knowing her right near here. I will do my hair here next time, and I will bring my mom here too. I am so happy to see my boy's smiling face. Today is my lucky day.Services: Perm

I have just moved to Port Washington and was in dire need for a new hair salon and just chose this one. The customer service was very good and I am so happy with my hair! I got a single process and a half a head of highlights. I thought their prices were very reasonable.

I recently visited the salon, and was charged $380 for a Japanese straightening, despite the advertisement in the window claiming that it costs $150. I've been here before and have always been upcharged for my thick hair, but it has always cost $200 max. Anyone who goes to this salon for Japanese straightening knows that they are not going for a pleasant salon experience. The service is painfully slow (around 5 hours for a 3 hour treatment because they have 3 people tending to 5+ clients at a time), they burn the crap out of your head with the dryers, straighteners, and chemicals for the Japanese straightening, and the salon is not well kept. I've put up with this awful experience over the years because the result is good and the prices are low. I imagine anyone going to this salon is looking for a lower-cost option. I feel badly leaving a bad review for a small business during challenging times, but doubling an already expensive service is not good for business. Customers are facing tough times too! This salon needs to be transparent with customers about price increases. An additional $180 on a service I've received before is completely unacceptable. I will not be returning.
