I first discovered Steve’s Barbershop when my boys were very young and he was on Herbert St.
I’m not very particular when it comes to hairstyle, but Steve has always done an excellent job. He’s also ensured the same when it’s one of the other barbers, all of whom I have used.
Steve’s expertise expands beyond hair. He’s provided excellent counsel on varied topics from fatherhood to muscle spasms.
I have been so impressed by how resilient he has been - from the fire that caused him to relocate his shop through COVID, when everyone’s backyards turned into barbershops.
So I took my boyfriend to a salon cause his hair was down to his lower back and we wanted to donate his hair. The salon gave him a girl's haircut. He looked like he had a Karen haircut or imagine a page boy hair cut. Realizing what I did and the horror I caused my boyfriend I then took him to Steve's immediately and they fixed my boyfriend right up making him look 100000x better. Thank you David for the amazing work you did!

I am from Port Washington, New York, originally before I moved to the Maryland area, I went to this barbershop for many, many years before moving. Always provided the absolute best and very professional haircuts. There a couple of good hair cutting shops near me, but at Steve’s they are so skilled at what they do, and they are extremely friendly, and welcoming, I still try to go and get my haircut here when I visit family in the area.
