I installed 2 separate Cooper Hunter ductless systems about 3 years ago. Mice got into one of the outside units and chewed up the wiring and boards. I changed the boards but still had error codes. Zach from Heckman came out, listened to what I had done up to that point and completed the repair of the unit. One of the replacement boards required a modification that I wasn't aware of. I had called a competitor who came out and wanted to replace the entire system consisting of 2 inside units and the outside unit. Zach had this one running for $125. If you want something fixed and not just replaced, call these guys.

Our air conditioning unit was not working , my husband called John an he came up the same day, he got the old one going but recommended us to get a new one , he was back in two days installing the new one , very impressed with his knowledge and how fast he got us back up and running

Called Heckman Refrigeration after my Central AC system died during a heatwave, of course. John and his assistant arrived within a half hour to see if they could help me out. As I anticipated, being that my system was 19 years old, they were unable to repair system because parts were no longer available for my system. I knew that to be true because someone that had serviced the system in the past had told me the same thing. Long story short, John installed a new system for not too much more than I paid 19 years ago. As I write this, it is 94 degrees outside and 74 degrees in my house, and the system is not continously running. I would highly recommend Heckman Refrigeration... read full review
