Bernie is a real landscaper. He is not the guy or company that only cuts your lawn and edges your flower beds. He will come by your house and carefully listen to your goals such as a deciduous privacy shrub wall or a pine tree or shrub for your front yard. He will tell you what will do well in your soil and sunlight conditions and how tall and wide it will grow. He will tell you how often to water the plants. Bernie used the plant nursery on Columbus Ave Thornwood for my 5 skip laurel privacy screen. They are doing well and flowering in year 2 after developing and shedding some winter brown leaves. Hire him- a reasonably priced true landscaper.
