I also unfortunately hired Claud Shaffer from C.W. Shaffer and was led on to believe that he had a full working crew. Claud also told me that he hires women and minorities and is non discriminator. The job was to install vinal siding, fascia, and soffits on a newly installed modular home. He gave me a good line and compared to other quotes from other contractors I thought it was a fair price to install these materials that came with my modular, including nails. Claude is a FRAUDE! Do NOT HIRE or trust C. W. Schaffer. His work is shoddy, unreliable and sub-par. It will cost more to have his disastrous "work" fixed. Claude only wants your money, does not know what he is doing, and neither do those who work for him. Please take this seriously. Claude screwed over us, and several of our neighbors with various jobs. He took our dream and turned it into a nightmare. His M.O. is that he will go get materials, and then hold it over your head that he has already ordered materials. I unfortunately hired Claud Shaffer from Cw Shaffer DO NOT HIRE him. His work is substandard at best. He did not put any time or craftsmanship into his work . To add he was using my personal tools to complete his work. He would disappear at weeks at time leaving a mess behind him. He came up with every excuse in the book why he couldn't make it. He ruined my home and also stoll tools from garage. When confronted he laughed and returned them. I now have to pay a professional to fix his work.
