“I can’t say enough great things about Kate Emilie's A Salon! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the warmest and kindest receptionist who instantly makes you feel at home. Everyone there is SO SO nice—it’s such a welcoming and comforting atmosphere. I came in recently with allergies and could barely talk, and everyone was so kind, asking if I wanted water or need anything else. They even made me a cup of tea with local honey, which was such a thoughtful touch.

“I came to this salon because one of my nails broke and my other salon was closed. However, even without an appointment, I was seen promptly and the nail tech did a wonderful job. They had plenty of gel colors so it was super easy to match colors and the tip they put on matched my set seamlessly. The precision filing and buffing was some of the best I’ve had—super clean and careful without rushing. I also loved that they brought a curated selection of gel nail colors right to the chair. “The food. Decisions decisions, veal osso bucolic, veal chop cut and stuffed or sea bass with cherry peppers and capers. I new the veal would be great but I couldn't get over the preparation of the bass. I live on the road and eat at very nice restaurants and this is one of them for sure. I was impressed. It has been years since I have experienced a dish as delicious as this. I sat alone at the bar. Nice quiet setting. Server was attentive and the house cab was Josh.
