Our experience working with the staff from KTU—from the design consultant to the installers—was excellent. The design consultant worked to make sure the results matched our expectations. The cabinet refinishers (who I should call carpenters!) were professional and very detailed. The tile installer was a master at his profession and put the finishing touches on the project.
The only issue we had involved the countertop installers, ranging from a wrong size to an unlevel top. However, these issues were immediately addressed by the project manager to our satisfaction. Kitchen Tune-up was excellent!!! We had hired a contractor in Aug and by November we had to fire him because he just wasn’t completing the job. We were very frustrated and had many other people give us quotes to finish the job. None of them knew how to install our soft close drawers and we found out our cupboard doors weren’t the right size. Sean had us come to the showroom to pick out new doors and handles and they repainted our cupboards to match! The workers were so nice and they had the job done in four days just like they said they work!! So refreshing to actually have a job done exactly like they said they would. We recently had our memory care cabinets refinished, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The team was professional, efficient, and clearly took pride in their work.
What stood out most was how respectful they were of our residents and the environment—they worked thoughtfully and minimized disruptions throughout the process. The quality of the refinishing exceeded our expectations, and the cabinets look fantastic.
