“I have lived in Merrick long enough to pass Marissa’s Brow & Beauty Bar a bunch of times, but apparently I’ve been wasting valuable time because WHERE HAVE THEY BEEN ALL MY LIFE?
For context: I have basically no brows and lashes that have spent the last 36 years in witness protection.
This was my second lash lift, and this time I added a lash tint plus a brow shaping and tint with Marissa. I genuinely don’t understand the sorcery that occurred, but I walked out with the most natural-looking brows AND, as it turns out, I HAVE EYELASHES. Who knew?!
Nothing looks overdone or fake. I just look like I naturally woke up with brows and lashes, which is the kind of lie I am very comfortable living.
Marissa and Alyssa officially made the beauty-maintenance rotation. 10/10. I will be returning to continue pretending I woke up like this.”

“Luxurious Beauty Studios” isn’t just a name it truly describes the experience. The studio is beautiful, welcoming, and run with so much intention. The luxury isn’t only in how the space looks, but in how you’re treated. I never feel like just another appointment; I feel seen, and genuinely cared for which is so hard to find!
I mainly come for my K-Tip extensions with May and Carmen, They’re incredibly talented, patient, and meticulous with their work. They don’t just care about making your hair look beautiful; they truly care about the health and integrity of your natural hair. I always leave feeling beautiful and confident.
I’ve also tried lashes and a facial with Ayanna, and she was amazing. She’s extremely knowledgeable, kind, and professional. During my facial, she took the time to educate me about my skin and honestly gave me more helpful information than I’ve gotten from my dermatologist. My skin looked amazing afterward!
P.S. Even though I haven’t personally received services from everyone in the studio, I’ve been around enough to see the talent, care, and quality that every person brings to the space. Whenever I’m there, I see clients walking out the door looking beautiful, happy, and confident, and I think that says so much! Everyone is incredibly kind and welcoming, and I truly believe that no matter what beauty service you come in for or who you book with, you’ll be treated with care and leave feeling your absolute best. 🤍”
