About Retro Fitness
Retro Fitness provides a no-frills gym experience that is close to home and clean. The gym offers state-of-the-art fitness equipment, group fitness classes, a Smoothie Bar, and a Pro Shop. Despite some initial concerns and past issues under previous ownership, the gym has undergone significant upgrades and improvements since being taken over by corporate. The staff is now friendly and helpful, creating a more welcoming atmosphere. Members can look forward to new amenities such as massage chairs and red light therapy. Overall, Retro Fitness seems to be committed to providing a better experience for its members.
I've been going to this gym for three years, and I love it. They've renovated everything, and it's very clean; they're always cleaning. But I prefer going in the morning because it's not very crowded. I recommend going at five in the morning, haha.
Not super impressed with this Retro Fitness anymore, or their affiliation with ABC Financial. I'm only here to use the studio space, and now with classes, that access is limited. I fully support group fitness classes, but when you have only 1 participant in the class, and several people wanting to use that space, it's time to consider what's best for the majority of your members . In addition, I spent over half an over on the phone with ABC Financial simply trying to update my payment information. What a joke.
i give them only 3 stars is only because they dont offer much classes in the afternoon, what happend with the people who works until 3pm and dont have time in the mornings? I hope in the future they can consider, you'll be definitely the best gym in long island
