I (and my son (7 years old) have been training at 5150 for more than a year. This is a truly amazing place and I highly recommend it to anyone. For years, I tried a number of places to continue learning MMA; however, it never worked until I found Professor O'Keeffe. He is caring, thoughtful, skillful, fun, and tough all at the same time, which is a rare combination. He has a contagious love for jiu-jitsu and the innate ability to teach. We have been coming here for about a month with our 8 year old daughter who refused ALL after school activities and sports. Finally she has found her thing and we know it's in part to the amazing professors and environment 5150 Martial Arts creates for the children. We've seen her confidence grow and we love how they marry discipline, fun and standing up for yourself (both physically and verbally). Very happy here!
My daughter has been going to 5150 for a few months now and loves it! The professors are amazing. They provide a safe, neutering environment that allowed my daughter to feel comfortable immediately. They really focus on self defense and confidence when dealing with a bully or unwanted interaction. The learning environment is serious but fun and the kids work really well together. We’re so happy we found a place like this for our daughter.
