“I purchased an 1860 Italianate/Greek Revival farmhouse in Otsego County. The house was originally wired with vintage knob-and-tube throughout. I called Thornton sometime late autumn - they came highly recommended by several people on Norwich. Mr. Thornton reminded me that it was hunting season. No worries. I'm in no hurry (was still living in Virginia at the time). They called me back at their earliest availability. I moved into my house on Dec 7th. Jim started work on Dec 13th. Jim worked alone - he has decades of electrical work experience; he knew what he was doing, and he was very methodical. Jim couldn't work everyday straight through as he was juggling with other jobs. The work was done in phases, and completed in 7 days total, spread out over four weeks. Highly affordable.“
