Planet Fitness is a welcoming gym that promotes a positive environment. With over 2,400 locations, it offers a clean and spacious atmosphere, making it a great place for workouts. The equipment is well-maintained, and the staff consistently provides friendly service, greeting members with smiles. While there are occasional disruptions, the overall experience remains positive. Employees are dedicated, and their efforts to maintain a safe and supportive gym environment are appreciated by members. Planet Fitness belongs to the Tivity Health fitness network, providing access to many health clubs for a combined fee. What sets it apart is the Functional Training Room, a private space that is usually not crowded. The club also has private changing rooms across from each shower station. Planet Fitness is open 24 hours/day Monday through Friday, and its innovative app features workout videos that track activity and motivate members. Members usually sanitize equipment before and after use, and the club is relatively clean with helpful staff.
I have to say this is the best gym I’ve ever been to out here in Long Island. This place is always clean and has the best employees here. James and Dom are truly tremendous. They have truly helped me on my Fitness journey. They are truly one-of-a-kind, very knowledgeable and provide great customer service. After my accident, I didn’t think I was ever going to be able to get my physique back. But within six months of coming to the gym and their guidance. My physique is better than before. Thank you guys
The staff here are wonderful — always friendly and helpful. The massage chairs are comfortable and surprisingly easy to get access to, which is a nice bonus after a workout.
The women's locker room amenities are genuinely impressive compared to other gyms: private changing stalls with seating right across from the showers, in-shower shelving niches, and hair dryers provided. These little details make a real difference.
The one downside is the hot water consistency in the women's showers — it tends to go cold within just a few minutes, which is especially rough in winter. Hopefully something they can address, because everything else about the...read full review
The girl that's worked there for a while with the long dark hair kind of chunky I think her name is Sicily no customer service skills very unpersonable shows favoritism towards the African American crowd in all my time frequenting that gym never greets u when you come in or says goodbye when you leave does not have any customer service skills what's so ever not a good employee for your business
