Penny was a lifesaver. I came in with choppy layers that had been cut much shorter than I wanted, and she blended in extensions so seamlessly that you can’t even tell they’re there. I walked out feeling like myself again and so happy with my hair!

From the moment I walked in she treated me with the utmost kindness, and made me feel immediately welcomed and I knew I was finally in a space that felt safe, comforting and that I would not be judged whatsoever.
After many years of struggling with my hair, trying many products, poor previous experiences full of trials, tribulations and many, many days full of tears and frustrations, being immensely insecure with the state that my hair was in and hiding away all the time because of it, I took the chance to book with Penny and it did not disappoint. Penny was thorough, and actively took the time to listen to any questions that I had, my concerns, wanted to get to know more about me and my hair history, while sharing some tips and knowledge with me, if there was anything that I needed she would be right there with an answer or solution.
It’s an experience like this where I can tell when someone is truly passionate about what they do. Penny exhibits all aspects of that. I am so grateful to have encountered such a gentle soul, and amazing stylist.

I heard Penny was an Artist with hair and I finally was at the end of my rope with hair loss. After spending tons of money on treatments, shampoosa, pills and Lazer with no lasting results I knew it was time for a hair piece of some kind. I could no longer go to salons for a cut and color because I was so embarrassed of my bald head. I started doing what I could at home and using hair fibers to cover my head. I had gone to another person who measured my head for a hair topper but never got back to me. I have curly hair which requires perming a hair piece. This is a delicate matter. Curls are difficult and matching them to my hair without ruining the costly hair piece is very challenging. I knew I was in the right place when I entered Penny's salon. She is kind, gentle and beautiful. She took a long time with me explaining different hair toppers and how they work. I felt very comfortable with her knowledge and professionalism. Ultimately she permed and died the hair piece exactly like my hair. When I put it on I cried. I got my life and confidence back. She is an angel and hair expert. Give her a try, you will no be sorry. The time I spent with Penny was one of the best days I've had in a while, talking with her felt like catching up with a long lost friend, she's such a warm, caring and funny woman. She made me feel really important because she took her time transforming my hair into exactly how I imagined I wanted it to look, she's detail oriented which I thought was great because I am too. At the consultation she asked me what my dream hair is, after I told her I could see that she was thinking about how she could make that possible and from that point on I trusted her fully. I'm so grateful that I was able to become a client of hers because she completely transformed my hair into exactly how I pictured it when I was answering her question at our first meeting! My hair is naturally curly, very, very fine and I had a lot of loss- I was sincerely afraid that I'd be a hopeless case. However, I wasn't because Penny is a magician, she's a genius and has a palpable passion for what she does while helping women feel beautiful again! She did micro k-tips on my hair and when she was finished I looked in the mirror and almost cried because not only did I look 10 years younger, my hair was exactly like it was about 20-25 years ago! It was mind blowing to me because I didn't think that was even possible, she is truly an incredible artist and I'm convinced that she can do some kind of magic too! If you're trying to decide if you should make an appointment with Penny for whatever your reason may be, you definitely should because she is a gift and her work is on a whole different level, a level I didn't even know existed! Penny is absolutely amazing! I have thin hair to begin with, and after having heavy extensions for years in addition to aging, my hair was in dire need of help. Penny was kind enough to see me on a Sunday morning since we both had busy schedules. After discussing toppers and k-tips, I tried on some toppers and found one that was the perfect shade and amount of hair. I didn’t expect to like a topper that much and was so happy that she had one that was just what I needed. She took a good deal of time perfecting the cut to look natural. I now have something that I can throw on in the morning and walk out the door, saving time and making me feel much better about my hair. I do plan on trying k-tip extensions and I would only consider Penny for anything in the future. She is truly a hair artist and I am so glad that I found her. If you have thin hair, see Penny. Wig Cut and style. Penny knows all about Wigs. She can cut, color, style, and put your mind at ease, especially if you are new to this world. She is very knowledgeable and she even has some wigs that are realistic on site. From my experience most of the places that come up when you google anything about wigs are synthetic and feel fake. If you are on the fence just go for it and get a wig you won’t regret it. Penny is the perfect person to help guide you in the capital region. Her space is also clean, quaint, and intimate perfect for privacy.
