Elite Hair Salon is a cozy, welcoming, and hidden gem on Liberty Street. The owner is a total pro who consistently does an amazing job. He is better than any stylist found in LA or NYC, making him the man to see if you're looking to be styled with scissors rather than chopped with clippers. His haircuts are consistently great, he makes thick hair look amazing, and he is a total pro with color and products. His blowouts are flawless and 10/10. He works his magic, even with tough clients and specific hair textures like coarse and wavy hair, using correct tension and tools as well as delicate hands. Clients leave in love, with incredible-looking hair and a great boost in confidence. The salon provides a very welcoming environment where clients feel heard and cared for, with services handled with such care. It is a bit pricier than a barbershop cut, but you won't be disappointed. They allow doggies.
I had a great experience today! We are visiting Newburgh for the weekend and they kindly fit me in last minute. Excellent and thoughtful service with great results. I was in dire need of a root touch up and haircut. Thank you Elite!
I never hesitate to recommend Elite, and specifically, Darlene, to anyone I encounter (LOL). It's not entirely an exaggeration to say that Darlene saved my hair when I was newly postpartum (iykyk!). I have curly/fine hair, which I've found super difficult to find a good stylist for. I love Joel and Fern (who makes incredible candles!) and everyone else there too.
Joel the owner of Elite Hair Salon is my stylist and I walk out beaming ear to ear every time I leave, I love my hair color and cut! He is a true hair artist. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with a smile and always offered a beverage! (Fun little perk) I trust his opinion and know that he is a perfectionist just like me!
