Elite Hair Salon is a cozy, welcoming, and hidden gem on Liberty Street. The owner is a total pro who consistently does an amazing job. He is better than any stylist found in LA or NYC, making him the man to see if you're looking to be styled with scissors rather than chopped with clippers. His haircuts are consistently great, he makes thick hair look amazing, and he is a total pro with color and products. His blowouts are flawless and 10/10. He works his magic, even with tough clients and specific hair textures like coarse and wavy hair, using correct tension and tools as well as delicate hands. Clients leave in love, with incredible-looking hair and a great boost in confidence. The salon provides a very welcoming environment where clients feel heard and cared for, with services handled with such care. It is a bit pricier than a barbershop cut, but you won't be disappointed. They allow doggies.
New to Newburgh, I was looking for a stylist to replace my NYC regular. Elite was within walking distance to my home, and I set up an appointment with the owner Joel over the phone. After arriving, we had a brief chat to discuss what I wanted and less than 30 minutes later I was out the door with a great looking result. Though a bit pricier than a barbershop cut, if you're looking to be styled with scissors rather than chopped with clippers, he's the man. Definitely recommend!
