After more than two decades of getting inconsistent haircuts at barbershops around NYC (including some well-reviewed ones), I walked past Willy's in the fall of 2019 when they had a chair available, and I've been going there ever since. Willy is eminently likable and a gifted barber -- he's always given me great haircuts, and every time I'm there, two or three regulars pop in to say hi to him. His friend Koki is similarly cool and has regulars as well. I highly recommend Willy's, but please don't take my appointment if you do go.

One day pre-pandemic, I walked past Willy's while in desperate need of a haircut and there wasn't a line. Tito gave me a fantastic cut and became my go-to barber until COVID struck; sadly, he passed late in 2020. I recently made an appointment with Willy and he gave me a similarly great haircut and is a kind and intelligent guy to have a conversation with. I'll be patronizing this place for as long as I live anywhere near NYC.

Been going to this place for almost a decade now. I literally have to go cross state now to get there. But these guys are the best. They take their time, never rush, they're very sociable and good people. Your hair will look great and you'll be in a comfortable environment during the process. Highest recommendation.
