Vu Hair Salon in the Peninsula Hotel in NYC is the best! I adore my stylist, Barbara Deutsch. Her hands are like magic and every cut and color is like a makeover! The staff are super friendly, and are welcoming and engaging. Their talent is unreal. Won't go anywhere else!

This is an amazing hair salon with a beautiful view of the city from the 22nd floor of the peninsula hotel NYC! Service is impeccable. My friendly hair stylist, Shushan, did an amazing blow dry. Highly recommend the salon.

Flew into NYC for new years. Googled hair salons around our hotel in Manhattan. VU Hair came up, I called the day before New Year’s Eve for a much needed shampoo & style and they got me in! My appointment was 12 noon on New Year’s Eve, to my surprise my appnt was with Vu HIMSELF!! I was so nervous he would shame me being a very ritzy salon owner located in the fabulous one of a kind Peninsula Hotel on 5th avenue! ( had been at our farm outside of Charlotte. -farm hair and I care!!). But he was so down to earth and kind and we shared the love of old houses and historic buildings and he had the same vision and purchase dreams of farms in the future! It was A amazing experience I instantly loved him and he made my hair look like it had never before! I didn’t even know I had that much hair!! A wonderful kismet unforgettable experience. This is the only salon I will go to in New York for the rest of my life! Big hugs to VU and all the sweet amazing people on his staff! I’m sorry this took me so long to post. I planned on that week but holidays in New York and then life happened. But I will never forget that amazing appointment w wonderful Vu ❤️

An amazing hair salon, ask for Shushan! She is the most outstanding hair stylist and colorist I’ve ever had. She’s the only person who colors my hair and the color somehow only gets better with time (I’m a natural brunette and get full blonde highlights). My hair is super healthy and beautiful thanks to her!
