Veik’s Hairstyling is a classic barber shop on the Upper East Side that knows its customers.
Veik has been at it for over 40 years, and it shows. He genuinely cares about his clients. The shop has a relaxed vibe with smooth jazz playing in the background often, and conversations flow easily while you’re in the chair. He takes his time, never rushes, and always makes sure you leave looking your best. Cash only, but worth every penny for the experience.

$90 for a cut and beard trim cash only. No razor, no hot shaving cream, not even shave machine…I needed to go home and finish shaving. Can get way better cuts a few blocks away for $65 including tip.

Excellent haircut..... i walked by and saw it was quiet so i decided to try having my haircut. Emin was polite and gave me an excellent cut ..... really pleasantly surprised bc it was first time.

Absolutely incredible haircut… First timer here as I just moved to the area. I showed an old picture of my hair that I wanted to replicate and it turned out EVEN better than the original. Most importantly, my wife loves it 😁 I will be back very soon.

I have been going to Veki’s for the last 3 years. After looking for many years for a barber (tried all around my area) I finally found a place where you can just sit and relax. Emin is a super talented, super easy going person with excellent skills and great conversation topics. He really takes the time to give you a great haircut and the results are always amazing. Always happy to come here!!!!!! My son (7) also having his haircut with Emin. He is also great with kids!!!!!!
