I had an emergency situation today where my apartment key broke in half. I went to 2 different places that could not help me including Home Depot and another hardware store. I went to Umbrella and Rich was so kind, patient and helpful- he said it may not be able to be fixed but he was hopeful he could make something work. And he did! He was able to make me a copy that worked and I’m so grateful. Made my day much better than it could have been.

Yesterday I had an emergency at my apartment in midtown! The new key got jammed in my high security multi lock cylinder. And wouldn't budge ?. And worst I needed to be somewhere else in 40 minutes! I was recommended to call Umbrella locksmith on the Upper East Side. I spoke with Nate at the office and fortunately one of their technicians, Richard & a colleague was currently working in the midtown area, so he was able to arrive in under 12 minutes. The task was way more technically complicated that we bargained for, as the stuck key refused to budge! They ended up having to remove the multi lock cylinder, perform surgery on it, And reinstall... read full review

I wish I had come here first. I went to six different shops before and nowhere could copy my key! This place has more keys than you could imagine and the service is incredible. Special shout out to Rich for the excellent service.
