I’ve been going to Twigs for YEARS now ! To say that I am spoiled is an understatement. Kristiana is the absolute best and always takes into consideration my wants and needs when it comes to my hair. I was so tired of people just chopping it all off but she does a great job at maintaining the length and getting it super healthy. I also love the icy blonde color that she has come up with for me ! Highly recommend !

Went in for a color consultation. The 1st colorist I met with told me she did not have the skills to do what I needed (I was just going from brunette to blonde) and that I should speak to the owner, Julie. She assured me the owners don't charge more than the stylists & literally said, "it's not like she will charge $300 or anything." She told me she'd tell Julie everything about my hair from our consult. Instead Julie had me send reference photos, asked me all of the same questions as in the consult, and then told me that to get what I wanted it would require 2-3 visits, for "all day" appointments, and that her rates were $150 an hour. So by this math going blonde could have been as much as $3600. Before tip!! (By the way charging someone hourly while bleach sits on their head, and the stylist does nothing, should be illegal). And also, she couldn't get me in for 3 weeks anyways cause she was "so busy". I sent the same photos to Salon 87 (an actual high end salon, in Williamsburg) and they quoted me $450 total (one appointment, 6 hours long). It is mind blowing Twigs is actually in business w/ their offensively structured pricing & awful customer service, so beware..... dinosaurs are still roaming the earth in the EV.

Kristiana saved my hair after a bad experience elsewhere. She took the time to come up with a plan after a detailed consultation, made room in her schedule, and did some extra color on top after we rinsed just to make it perfect! Plus she was super nice and great to talk to throughout the appointment. Highly recommend.

I liked my sister's look after her haircut was done. She looked so young. It was done by this good salon. The service was exceptional plus the cost was very reasonable. Will definitely go back again!
