I have seen many other acupuncturist for weeks and never seen results. I saw Dr Wu and the next day my pain was reduced by 70% and could walk again without limping so much. He pointed out my problem and went to the root of it. He runs his own office and gets very busy at times but he’s always been kind and friendly to me. If you want help to alleviate your pain and see results, this is your place, but if you are looking for the royal treatment with all the whistles go somewhere else.

I called to ask whether he accepted my insurance, and he was extremely rude. He yelled at me, ‘I told you I don’t accept this insurance!’ and then hung up on me. I was shocked because I only asked a simple question, and I only asked it once.

Dr. Wu has treated me and members of my family (including two practicing physicians) over several decades. On the advice of an internist friend, I first visited him for plantar fasciitis, which improved quickly. Later, he treated me for back, knee and hip issues. I can only say that the relief was remarkable--and lasting--and this was after traditional physicians had recommended far more drastic interventions, including injections and possible joint replacement. It's still a mystery how acupuncture works, and a challenge to try to explain it in terms that comport with western medicine. However it seems to reduce inflammation so that the body heals itself. You can count on Dr. Wu to determine how long you need to be treated. In some cases, he'll tell a patient they don't need more sessions. In others, he'll say to come back in a week. Just a note on his perceived "grumpiness." While he can be laconic with English-speaking patients, this seems to be mainly a language issue. There's a big difference between speaking a a professional level and being able to joke in a foreign language. With his Chinese patients, he comes across as warm and chatty--though of course I've no idea what they're saying.

Dr. Wu is excellent, kind and welcoming. I am not Asian and was met with respect and compassion. He checked me and confidently said he could help me within three sessions. In those three sessions my quality of life increased dramatically! Thanks to his care and skill I was able to recover in many ways, to the extent that I was able to start working out again and push myself to new levels of fitness.
He is very straight to the point, but do not let that make you think he is rude. He is very benevolent and humble, to the extent where he wouldn’t even let me tip him for his services! He changed my life for the better, I’ll always wish him success 👍🏽

I don’t know why so many good reviews here, the only thing I can see that he is rude and ridiculous! When I went to the office I didn’t see anyone, that’s why I asked : Hello, is anybody here. 2 minutes later, he said : wait! Door is open means someone here. And he walked out asked me : why you come here today, I said my husband shoulders pain, he is on the way. He said : I don’t see people today, don’t need to come….. This is a doctor without medical ethics, very bad attitude, if you don’t want to be angry please don’t come to see him.

Dr. Wu is a miracle worker. He tells you straight up whether he can help you or not, and he has sent me home many times after 1 session, telling me I'm done. Every time I go with a back issue, he fixes me in 1 session. I've had an injury from tennis on my elbow, and it was the only time he said to me that he would need to see me 5-7 times. After the 6th time, I was completely recovered. I can't recommend him more. At times he seems grumpy but he is also the sweetest man. He loves what he does which is helping people.

Dr. Wu is an amazing healer. I have had a couple of very different health issues that Dr. Wu has helped me get rid of. He is both very kind and very frank—dedicated to helping people. I have recommended him to many friends and it’s always been appreciated.
