Throw Me A Bone Inc. / Dog Daycare, Grooming and Boarding

Bruno loves Throw Me a Bone so much!!! He has gone to 2 of their locations and pulls me to the door each time. They take such great care of him and love his as their own. His big smile and wagging tail say it all!

Our dog was terrified of going to the groomer after some negative experiences at other groomers. Upon picking her up from Throw me a Bone, I have never seen her happier post grooming. Not only was she happy to see me, she was incredibly affectionate with the groomer—a clear sign they had treated her gently, kindly, and with love. 10/10 would recommend.

We sent our rescue dog Frida to her first assesment and then she stayed for 3 more hours, she was having the BEST time at Throw me a Bone! Even though she is very very energetic, they knew how to handle her and were super patient with my pitsky! We'll definitely send her more to daycare!

Our dog had a great time at the dog daycare and was so excited to be there and play with everyone there. The entire process was smooth and easy and we loved that there were many photo updates throughout the day.

Any questions we had were promptly communicated and answered and the staff were all very kind and gentle in handling her. Highly recommend.

We moved to NYC a little over a year ago and have had a difficult time finding a groomer who is not only highly skilled, but passionate about dogs in the city. Safe to say we’ve found our go to groomer - Wesley! He is highly experienced and I’ve never seen my dog gladly approach a groomer, let alone kiss them! My dog is quite anxious with grooming and I was surprised to see him very happy. It just goes to show how well Wesley treats pets! Thank you, Wesley! You’ve earned a lifetime customer :)

I couldn’t be happier with the experience! I have been using the same groomer for years and after a couple bad experiences lately I decided to give this place a try. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that Wesley genuinely cares about both pets and their owners. He was warm, attentive, and incredibly patient, taking the time to understand exactly what I wanted and making sure my dog felt comfortable every step of the way. I have a very hyper active Pomeranian who isn’t very trusting and he was immediately comfortable with Wesley.
The results were amazing—my dog has never looked (or smelled!) better. The cut was precise, the coat was soft and shiny, and even the little details like the nails and ears were handled perfectly. What really stood out was how calm and happy my dog seemed afterward, which says everything about the level of care and professionalism here.
It’s rare to find a place that combines skill, kindness, and consistency so well. I’ll absolutely be coming back and recommending this groomer to anyone who wants their pet treated like family.
