Matt was incredible! Took care of our cat who needed some stitches and antibiotics after a run in with an AC unit. Matt was so kind and caring and talked us through everything. Thank you Matt!! The trip ended up being way more expensive than expected (like $900+), and I wish we had known a bit more about the pricing of the procedure beforehand. But at the end of the day our cat needed help and AMC was there for us. We also had a long wait (we were there for around 5 hours total) but that's because other animals had to be prioritized due to being in much worse condition. AMCNY is an extremely busy animal hospital, and I am constantly amazed how kind, compassionate and patient the staff is, starting from the moment you arrive. The vet techs are all so lovely. I truly do not...read full review

I have used AMC for several of my cats, and they have been fabulous each time, from way back in 1995 when they confirmed my first generation cat needed an enucleation (but also that his regular vet could do it) to 2017 where they had my girl Purrsia stay with them until her temporary limb paralysis improved and called each day with an update, to this year when I had to say goodbye to her, and then got good news about her brother Tiggs's prognosis just a few days ago. Throughout, each vet, tech, and front desk person has been so caring and professional, and truly, for emergencies and specialties, AMC is truly the gold (wait! Is platinum better?) standard of animal care.
