We recently stayed in the family suite. While there was some wear and tear to the rooms (paint peeling and such), the rooms were very clean and exactly as advertised. The staff was welcoming. Breakfast was great. Location was perfect, with breakfast and dinner options very close and an easy walk to and from Penn Station. Looking forward to many more stays at The Leo House.

For the cost and location, this is more than a solid place to stay with modest accommodations.
You might not have a dedicated bathroom or enjoy checking in and out your key all the time, but starting everyday with their expansive breakfast is an outstanding perk that shouldnt be overlooked.
The staff is really pulling their weight around here!

Leo House is a treasure in so many ways: location in Chelsea very walkable (the HighLine is only 2 blocks away) crosstown bus at entrance, subway less than a block away. Easy to flag a taxi. Now for the Historic Leo House itself. Be sure you google it to see its history. It is a Guest House, a college dorm, an international hub. It is not for profit (no hotel tax) It has complimentary breakfast buffet 6 days a week—never on Sunday. Rooms are small most w/ half bath…a basin & commode in room—adequate private showers on each floor. However there is a library, a parlor, a vending room a lounge & a garden room.
