Ruben is an amazing driving instructor. He’s super patient, explains everything really clearly, and gives incredibly detailed, practical instruction, especially when it comes to preparing you for exactly what to expect on the day of the road test. He showed me exactly what to expect with Google Maps live view.
I took a few very effective lessons with him and practiced on my own and passed my road test on the first try. His prices are also unbeatable compared with other driving schools and instructors in the area. I’d highly recommend Ruben to anyone looking for a patient, knowledgeable, and effective instructor!
I failed my driving exam twice with a different school and honestly gave up on driving for a while. Deciding to try again with Ruben was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Over ten lessons he fixed my fundamentals, we drilled everything I was weak on, and I went into my exam actually feeling ready.
Ruben is also just a genuinely nice guy. Good conversation in the car, kind with his feedback, and super organized with scheduling. On exam day, both I and the other student testing passed. He clearly knows how to prepare people.
I’ve already sent two people his way. If you’ve been struggling or feeling discouraged, give him a shot. I’m writing this review very… read full review
Ruben is an amazing instructor and very kind! Also, the lessons are very affordable which was truly the main reason I decided to enroll in this driving school.
He gives really good constructive criticism that helps you improve. Most importantly, he knows how the dmv will assess you on the day of the road test which really helps you know what to target and be more prepared. I took 7 lessons and towards the end I felt really confident on my driving skills, and passed the road test on the first try!!
