The Anthem is a great place to live, offering a seamless and effortless experience. The management, building services, and team members are helpful, friendly, and kind, making it an easy place to reside. Residents enjoy amenities like the rooftop garden, gym with sauna (membership through crunch), and friendly doormen, which make the building stand out. The large windows and abundant closet space in each unit add to the comfort, while the convenient location provides easy access to nearby stores like CVS, Duane Reade, Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods. The south-facing units on floors 17 and up offer plenty of sunlight and quiet away from busy streets, creating a peaceful retreat. The rooftop deck is a botanical garden come springtime, ideal for a break from the city. The gym inside the building is exclusively for residents, reducing wait times for equipment. Overall, tenants feel respected and valued, with the management being accommodating and flexible. The doormen and handymen are some of the kindest people in New York, going above and beyond to make residents feel at home. With a great roof and prompt repair services, The Anthem provides a welcoming lifestyle worth recommending.
I just moved out of The Anthem after living there for 16 years from 2010 to 2026. From your initial interaction with the leasing office to the entire staff of the building—doormen, porters, maintenance, management, and the concierge service, Every interaction was pleasant every individual beyond helpful and nice. Everything in the building functions as if it were brand new, every common space Is always immaculate and appears brand new, it’s truly a pleasant community and was a wonderful place to live. We lived in the Anthem for 3 years and have nothing but excellent things to say about this apartment. To start, the doormen are extremely friendly and attentive and are always there for you. Maintenance requests are extremely straight forward in this building and the handymen sometimes even responded to my request within the hour when I submitted it. The building is in a lively location and conveniently located with Trader Joes, CVS and Whole Foods and we enjoyed walking to K-town or Madison Square Park from the Anthem. We only wanted to try a new neighborhood but would still be living in the Anthem if not and I would strongly recommend the Anthem to anyone interested...read full review
I had a great experience living at the Anthem and moved out due to reasons not related to the building. Literally ever member of the Anthem team is super friendly and helpful. Every maintenance request was fulfilled beyond my expectations. Lauren the property manager was a delight to work with. I couldn't recommend this building enough.
