Dr Raviv is superb. After 44 years suffering with contact lenses and new cataracts I traveled from overseas to see him. And after evaluating other top cararact surgeons in NY and in other US. cities I decided to go with him. He gives you full confidence and also explains neatly the whole process. ( we even rooted for the same team in the World Cup). His whole team starting with his surgical coordinator Karem Sandigo also superb . Also at the Retina Surgery Center excellent attention. Dr Tal Raviv performed cataract surgery on my right eye a year ago and on my left eye two days ago. Dr Raviv took into consideration my pre-existing eye conditions as well as the type of IOL best suited for the type of tasks for which I need clear vision. I am happy with his choice of IOL for each eye. I was happy with the result of the right eye. My left eye, still healing, has a macular pucker which has a higher risk of developing swelling so Dr Raviv put me on an extended drops schedule to help control the swelling.
