I visited Dr. Huizenga in the summer, she was
dismissive, condessending, barely looked at my skin condition, the diagnosis was “this looks like melasma” (it was NOT melasma according to another dr i saw at weil cornell). i got a prescription creme that did nothing.

i’ve been going to Spring St dermatology for over 6 years now because they are simply the best. they accommodate your schedule and don’t make you wait. you are in and out very efficiently but they take their time treating you. all of my procedures have been so smooth and painless. Dr Nikhil Dhingra is amazing.

Excellent she knew right away. I was going on with my face. She really listened was attentive and recommended products specifically for my skin type.

My 2 girls and I all see Dr Kihiczak. She is amazing and knowledgeable. Great listener, focused on us throughout the visit, while at the same time extremely efficient, she's one of the best doctors I've had.

Spring St Dermatology is the best!! Their office is beautiful and peaceful, the assistants and receptionists are always friendly, and Dr. H is so knowledgeable and kind. I’ve had many appointments here and each one feels the same. 10/10 recommend!!

Dr. Vasic is awesome, she has great bedside manner and is efficient. The office is clean with nice staff, and my appointment took place on time. I went for a yearly skin check, and would definitely recommend this practice for medical visits.

Ive been to the place a few times never had any issues. This time around I went to see Dr. Dommasch on 8/15/25. I thought everything went well. The commute there took longer than her actually speaking to me. She prescribed me Pimecrolimus cream because the one I have been using for years (Triamcinolone) thins the skin which I was never told that. Fast forward to today 8/22 picked up the prescription from walgreens because it was out of stock. Literally put it on and no issue then a couple of hours later my face started to burn itch and turn red (which she did explain some burning can happen) but I started to itch around areas that I did not apply the cream looke like I was getting a rash. Called them and spoke to one of the receptionists and I was told they were going to reach out to her because I told them this is not normal and burning really bad. I was told to submit pictures and theyll get back to me. Didn’t hear from them called again spoke to someone else same thing they will reach out to me. Nothing. Called around 5 something and last person I spoke to said he looped in all the doctors including the office manager and I will receive a call before 7 which is when they close. Again nothing. Then after 7 I get a message from the doctor not even a call and automatically she says its perioral dermatitis and prescribed one other cream and some antibiotics. Ive had perioral dermatitis before and my face and neck have never been on fire. I got heated and went off on her because what kind of doctor automatically just prescribes medication without actually speaking to the patient? Her excuse she was on a plane which I said why if yours out of office then are you reaching out. Should’ve been someone else covering for her and actually talk and ask questions. Which made me even more mad. So I started cursing which not very professional but I do not like to be dismissed when I genuinely have concerns. They gotta do better all of them. Usually not a bad place I guess her vacation was more important than my face burning and me having a reaction to the medication she prescribed which she didn’t even acknowledge I was having a reaction to it. Automatically said perioral dermatitis and called it a day and prescribed other medication. I have seborrhoeic dermatitis which is the main reason I have been going to them for a few years now. Maybe just don’t let any doctors prescribed medications without actually having an actual conversation with the patient

Went in for my annual skin check and will definitely keep coming here. So friendly and so thorough. The office is really nice too!
