Would give this place 0 stars if i could. To start, they scheduled me for an 8am appointment and were not even open. When they did open, they did not have the hair color that we previously discussed. So i had to wait until the beauty supply stores were open to buy my own. when i make my way back and finally get into the chair at 10:30, i show them the style i want, that was confirmed $200 over instagram, only sir soraya to say the style isn’t $200 and that they can’t do it because it will take all day. Will not ever return and i suggest you stay away.

I would give 0 stars if it were possible. My first and unfortunately last experience going to Soraya was absolutely horrible. First, they do not know how to deal with natural hair. I have 4c hair. Why are you brushing it from the roots with no product and combing it with a fine tooth comb after putting gel in it? Secondly, the most frustrating part of the experience is that they simply don't listen. I told Soraya that I do NOT want my hair very long and specifically told her I want bra strap length knotless braids. The first thing Soraya says is "Why don't you want long hair?" But she ultimately agreed. She has someone else begin to braid my hair and they start giving me braids down to my butt that I didn't ask for. I asked her and Soraya if they eventually would cut it and they both reassured me it would be cut after she finished when the braids are wet. When it was done, I reminded them I wanted it cut and they both argued with me! Soraya kept repeating "if we cut it you won't be able to put it in a bun" and I'm like: "for the 10th time I don't WANT to put it into a bun!" I ended up leaving, coming back and demanding that they cut it, which she eventually did...by about 1/2 an inch. I ended up going home and just cutting it myself. This was the most frustrating experience I have EVER had getting my hair braided. I would NEVER recommended this place to anyone.

They will snatch your edges out for fun! My daughter and I had to remove our hairstyles the next day due to the pain. Do not recommend. I returned to complain she only offered to redo my hair, I literally ran. Do not recommend.

Regular box braids for a boy was 80 dollars … way to pricey … please reconsider going here because of the price …
I don’t think it’s worth it … I’ll go to 125 for the same quality work and service for half the price

Do not come here unless you want to receive disgusting customer service from the owner and her hairstylists. The first time I went to this salon, the owner’s niece (who was very nice but only works there by chance) did bra-strap length knotless braids for me and she did a great job, I walked out of there happy with my hair and looking forward to coming back. Fast forward to yesterday, I came for my second appointment to get knotless braids again but with french curls at the ends this time. This salon does not sell/supply any french curl braiding hair so I had to do the work of finding it myself. I asked the owner for the cost of this service and she asked me how much I wanted to pay, at which I told her I normally pay 180$. (Also, the website for this salon literally says that knotless braids cost 180$.) She rejected that price and explained that the kind of hair I supplied is too soft and more difficult to braid with, so it would cost 20$ more for the trouble which I completely understood and accepted. The owner directed me to sit in this narrow coat closet with no air circulation. The hairstylist she assigned me to walked in with nothing but complaints at soon as she sat me down on the broken salon chair. She was speaking with a mixture of French and her native dialect but she assumed that I couldn’t understand French so she didn’t realize I could understand her entire conversation with the hairdresser next to her. She just kept complaining, complaining, complaining. The price, the hair….everything was problem for her. She told the other hairdresser in French that if she knew she had to braid my head with the hair I provided and the 200$ price, she would have just stayed in her bed. That’s fair. The point where I realized I needed to halt this service was when the owner came back and started sneak dissing me in French. At some point she called me an “imbecile” in French, which is like calling someone an idiot. Neither of them realized I understood them yet. Before I stopped the stylist so I could cancel the service I was texting all of this to my mother, until the hairstylist snooped on my phone and read the text messages. She freaked out because she got caught, so she signaled the owner to come and try to convince me to stay. They both got very loud and aggressive with me and I still declined to finish my hair. There was absolutely no way I was giving these women 200$ plus tip after catching all these strays. My mother was so enraged with the way they treated me so she had to come in the salon and defend me. Imagine if somebody talked down on their own children the way they did to me. Shameful
