Every session at SlowBurn leaves you with a feeling of accomplishment. Fred and his staff are conscientious and supportive. My last bone density test showed a stable result after 3 years.. not a small feat for a 75 year old. I am glad my daughter introduced me to this personal training. I highly recommend SlowBurn
I've been going since 2007 and I appreciate the one-on-one strength training that I would not do if I were just going to a regular gym. I'm 76 and over the first few years I lost 25 pounds that I had accumulated in my mid-life, and combined with my walking over this great city, I feel much more energized. I have been training at Serious Strength for 15 years, because it works better and is easier to stick with than anything else. The gym is always scrupulously clean and cool, and the trainers always make the most of my time. It sounds too good to be true: 30 minutes, no need to shower afterward, and you get noticeably stronger and leaner. But it is ALL true. It's a tough 30 minutes, make no mistake. But if you are serious about the gym, Serious Strength is it.
Update 9/6/22: Now it’s renamed SlowBurn, and I am still at it, almost 24 years. Do I look like a body builder? Nope, I don’t have those genes (and certainly won't take steroids).... read full review
