Absolutely amazing tattoo artist RAY…. I walked in and told him exactly what I wanted. He was so brilliant and he’s been doing his trade for such a long time, I felt like I was in GREAT HANDS… and I was… the detail of my brand new addition is something short of spectacular.. he did such a good job… anyone coming to NEW YORK- come check out the coolest basement studio tattoo parlour you’ll EVER find… highly recommend… I’ll be back Ray!

I came there for a “Reaper” tattoo. It’s a symbol of my motorcycle club. Rene Soto was my artist. His attention to detail is what separates my tat from everyone else’s in my nationwide club. His shop has a cool vibe, you feel like you belong.
Hands down the best tatto shop in NYC. Renee has been doing this since the 70s and he has mastered the craft. I've been getting inked since the 80s and only wish I had found Skin Trade a long time ago.
