I loved everything about my experience! From the hair wash, to the rolos, the blow out, and love that my hairstylist trimmed exactly what she said she would and not more. She also recommended a treatment that my hair would benefit from, which I appreciated. My hairstylist was JANET, and she did an amazing job!! Everyone else there was so warm and welcoming. Absolutely going back to get my hair done with her. She’s truly a gem!
Once I transitioned to my curly hair journey, it felt like blowouts were just not the same and would never last. The work of Janet’s hands and expertise is the only time my hair actually stays straight and experiences no frizz, even after months and even a year of no heat to my hair! My daughter (12) also refuses to get anyone else to cut and style her hair since her first professional hair salon visit. Janet is one of the most superb hairstylist in Washington Heights. She’s has been doing my hair since I was a little girl and her talent is unmatched. She’s one of the few Dominican ladies who can still give a true Dominican blowout while still making sure my hair stays healthy. She’s recently moved to this salon from her previous spot and I follow her everywhere. She’s a tiny little lady and the sweetest thing ever, she’s is a powerhouse when it comes to hair.
