This was my first time getting my bow rehaired at Salchow & Sons, and I love it! I asked for black horse hair, and it was perfectly done. I really love how it makes my violin sound more full bodied and richer. Thank you so much!

What stood out most about this visit was the owner's dedication to excellence. When I arrived to pick up my bow, Isaac Salchow examined it and noticed that the job hadn’t been done properly. He asked if I could wait a bit so it could be corrected. While I wasn’t thrilled about the delay, his commitment to quality mattered far more to me. In the end, the work was done flawlessly. I will definitely return.

I have a cello bow. It was feeling hard when I played fast movement. Seth told me it needed to work on camber. I was very hesitated. Finally I flew to NY. Issac did that for me.
