I cannot say enough positive things about Rivergate and Peter Kross. I have been seeing him for all of my furbabies since 1997. Kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, caring and one of the best humans I know. The staff is wonderful as well. Kim, Alex, Leo.. their loyalty to the practice and dedication to the patients is unmatched. Thank you all for all you have done for me and my babies over the last 27 years!

All were superb and patient with our fierce little Maia who is fear aggressive, particularly with men. Yet the first time we saw Dr. Kavanaugh he came out right away to get her appt over with, handles her with confidence and compassion, and got us on our way fast without sacrificing care, attention and time to answer questions. I discovered a lump on my dogs neck and rushed her over to AMC for an emergency visit. The doctor thought it was carcinoma but was afraid to do a biopsy himself because (he said) it can bleed a lot. I would have had to wait 7 weeks more for another doctor. So I called my vet at Rivergate and she did it right away for me. Yes, it was cancer. Thanks to Rivergate I didn't have to sit around and wait when the cancer clock was ticking.
