We had a pretty interesting stay while at Residence Inn. Let’s talk about our room and overall experience. The first 2 nights, our air conditioning malfunctioned, causing the temperature to go as low as 50 degrees and when we shut off the unit it would restart by itself. At one point the air conditioning wasn’t cooling so our room stayed at around 78-80 degrees and it got hot after a while. They sent someone to fix it, though. There was no trash can in our room other than in the bathroom and it was quite inconvenient. We booked a 2 queen beds but instead there was a very small couch and a queen bed. Very basic hotel, but good value in New York. Room are large enough with full size fridge and small kitchen. Bedding are a little old and would benefits to be renew. Cleaniless is ok, but i found dirty glasses and cups in my room.
my friends and I stayed here for our recent trip to nyc. the room was nice but what really stood out to us were the amazing room service ladies. they were always to attentive and they made the bed and cleaned the room everytime we left for extended periods of time on our trip (everyday) there were 5 of us in the room and often ran out of clean towels/soaps/trash space and anytime we asked they were always happy to provide/assist.
