I was really impressed with my massage therapist, Zoe, she was super welcoming and really helped to make my deep tissue massage as comfortable as she could even though I had approximately a billion knots in my back.
It's very comfortable inside and very well priced for the area, very well priced! However, even though it is on the 2nd floor it does sit on a busy corner so you do hear outside noise occasionally so great for deep tissue massage when you're definitely not going to be able to fall asleep but for a more relaxing massage it may be hard to zone out.
They really work hard in this place. I saw a post about them acting funny over a tip. Well, when you go to get a massage, you are supposed to tip, lol... and not just 2-5 dollars. They have done a great job of keeping their prices low regardless of the inflation, so the least you can do is tip them well. I only have good things to say about this place and I hope this post can offset the negative comments. I highly recommend Renewing Wellness.
Have been coming here loyally for nearly TEN years, doesn’t matter where I travel, I always come back here as soon as I am in NYC, the massage therapists are HIGHLY skilled, BEYOND what you normally get in nyc. Everyone who works here is extraordinary and when you leave it’s like you have a newly improved body that lasts for weeks not just a day. From the street you wouldn’t know but it’s big inside, super clean and very peaceful. Just GO, you’ll never get a massage anywhere else again. Please also Tip well because they using all their energy and strength to help your body feel better.
