Dennis is amazing!!! He completely renovated, rebuilt and repaired my aging deck that was falling apart. My deck is very high up, and he had no fear. He sistered all the joists, repaired them, and crafted the deck and railing with fine attention to detail. He is an artist and a master builder, in fact my deck feels like it's custom made. I wish he could travel up to LA more often and I would ask him to redo my entire house. He is lovely to work with, quiet, neat and kind. I had many, many bids on my deck over the last fews years, but I am so glad I waited and found Dennis.

Renaissance Painting & Contracting completely renovated our guest bathroom (including the addition of a shower) and replaced lighting and electrical outlets in our guest bedroom. This renovation entailed framing, plumbing, tile installation, electrical, and painting--all of which Dennis completed beautifully, making an enormous improvement to our house. Dennis is a real craftsman and a total pleasure to work with. He's honest and straightforward, and has an obvious commitment to doing excellent work just as promised. Dennis is awesome! He is honest, patient, clean, and knows what he's doing. I used him to renovate our raw downstairs space into an apartment and studio. He's got a great eye for detail, precise with what is behind the walls, like electrical and plumbing, and loves fine wood working. I have worked with many contractors over the years and, as a single woman, found many to be condescending. Dennis has a wonderful personality, very professional, and made me feel comfortable when I asked questions or wanted to discuss options. He was very clear about his scope of work communicated well when issues arose. He I have recommended him to many friends who all have had great experiences.
