I have young-ish (30-year-old) sensitive, acne-prone, combination skin. I have never gotten routine facials but have had them as one-offs before, pre-COVID, at Heyday. I heard about Hanna through a family friend and went in expecting pretty much the same kind of experience I'd had before. She completely exceeded all of my expectations and I literally cannot wait to go back. I now can't imagine going anywhere else. First off, the location is super convenient- right near Koreatown. Since I had the first facial in Refuge Beauty I knew that I found my esthetician. I got everything that I could wish from treatment: 1) deep knowledge of all the processes that are going on in the body and could affect skin condition (and so that very tailored approach to skins specific problems and needs); 2) high quality products used (and consultation on what to buy - both mass market and professional brands); 3) amazing techniques - manual massage had such a skin lifting effect; 4) relaxing no-rush atmosphere when you know that esthetician gives you enough time for treatment itself, before/after preparation, consultation on skin care and products etc.; 5) the place...read full review

A serene and pleasant spa, with wonderful service and nice products. Perfect place for facial. The products are natural and effective and the esthetician does amazing massage. Highly recommend!
