I wish I could give this place a fairer review, but what happened tonight was unacceptable.
I arrived for my 6:15pm ClassPass appointment (booked five hours earlier) for a collagen gel pedicure the day before Thanksgiving. As soon as I walked in, I was met with immediate attitude from an employee who I believe is the owner. She told me, “We’re closing at 6, we made a decision,” as if my confirmed appointment was an inconvenience to her.
I explained that I had a reservation - and that no one had canceled it - yet she continued raising her voice at me in front of other customers. At no point did she lower her tone or try to speak respectfully. It was honestly shocking.
To be clear: one lovely employee did try to help and see if she could stay, and I appreciated that. My review is not about her. It’s about the owner who thought it was appropriate to yell at me the entire time instead of simply acknowledging the mistake, apologizing, or offering any kind of solution.
I told her I needed this pedicure tonight because I’m traveling and cannot come another day. Instead of helping, she kept insisting it was my responsibility to cancel the appointment on ClassPass (even though they were the ones who chose to close early without notifying me).
By the end of it, I had to ask her to cancel my reservation myself just so I could leave the situation. I told her directly she had lost a customer - and she didn’t seem to care at all.
I’ve had good experiences here before, which makes this even more disappointing. But the way ClassPass customers were treated tonight was unacceptable, unprofessional, and honestly embarrassing for a business. No one should be yelled at for showing up to their scheduled appointment, especially right before a holiday when many of us are trying to prepare and taking time out of an already full day.
I would not recommend this place based on the way I was treated, and I hope this review helps others make informed decisions about where they spend their time and money.

I arrived in NY for a short Broadway show birthday celebration with my girlfriends for my 50th birthday.
Two of us decided to get mani and pedis. We walked into refresh and the team was so kind. They asked us to wait 10 mins which we gladly did.
Then I met Maria she was going to be the one to take care of my hands and feet. She was calm, confident in her craft, kind and really great at the details. It’s been 5 days since my manicure and I have no chips, no tears and my manicure still looks brand new. My pedicures always last long and so that never been an issue what is happens to be these two calluses that I always get. Well Maria did such a good job that my feet are still silky smooth. However that’s not why I writing this review.
More than anything Maria listened to me in the was of a true nurturer. She massaged my hand and feet with care, strength and skill. I left feeling relaxed like I have t in a long time. I’m now back in LA and I wish she was here to take care of me every other week.
It’s going to be hard to find someone like Maria in LA to love on me and help provide the self care that we all need to maintain in life’s chaos.

Clean place with uneven service, had a pedicure that they rushed through and left half done. They made sure to try to upsell me to a bigger treatment despite barely finishing. Second time here and I thought maybe the first time was a fluke (had a similar experience that time) I won’t be back as they clearly don’t care enough.

It has officially been a week and my regular polish manicure is still going strong chip free! The atmosphere is extremely relaxing and Unis is always lovely. I try to go here weekly but don’t always get to because the manicures last for weeks! I look forward to my next appointmentServices: Pedicure
