I had been thinking about getting my first tattoo for a couple of years, but I wanted it to be something truly special and meaningful. During a trip to New York with my wife, I discovered this studio close to our hotel and decided to stop by.
From the moment I met the owner, Mike, I felt welcomed – what an amazing guy! He recommended an artist named Andres, and after meeting him I immediately knew this was the right place for my first tattoo.

I got my first tattoo here the other day, and had a wonderful experience. Right as I stepped in the door the staff were all incredibly welcoming and willing to help with anything I needed. Chris did my tattoo of a small black cat, and it came out exactly how I wanted. The prices were very reasonable. Would definitely recommend!

Can’t recommend more this shop ! The team there was welcoming and amazing, I’ve rarely felt so nicely treated than at Red Rocket ! Chris did an amazing job with my airplane tattoo, took her time and offered some great advice to my initial idea. Also the shop was extremely clean, maintained and really well located next to Herald Square. If any tattoo in NYC, then at Red Rocket !
