Queen Maman African Hair Braiding is a great place for braids. The workers are very nice, diligent, and fast. Customers love the service and get compliments on their hair everywhere. The shop is clean and feels very welcoming. One customer got waist length boho for $220 with hair included, finished in just a few hours. Another client and her daughter arrived at 8:45am, were seated by 9am, and done by 5pm with two breaks. The braids lasted about two months, even with washing. The braiders are patient, do not pull on the head, and color match hair perfectly. Many return with their teens, and different braiders have braided their hair each time—always leaving them happy. The only complaint is that Queen Maman is not too great at responding to texts, and there can be a language barrier. Wait times can be long when the shop is packed, and braiding may take longer than hoped. Overall, it is a 4/5 salon recommended for anyone looking for a deal and style.
My go to for my boho knotless😍. I love the service got compliments on my hair everywhere they’re the best. Only complaint is queen maman isn’t too great at responding to texts :(
The 125 location I was charged $85 For my son‘s twist and that’s after I had to tell her that there’s no hair added.. She started at $100. Never again!!!! Overpriced.

First of all I asked for small knotless braids and I feel like I got medium or smedium braids .. they probably did small in back and medium on top then they always got trouble parting my hair in the middle .. they always asking me if it’s in the middle like if I’m the stylist .. and the lady was rough with my hair . Ripping it & they be talking in there own language. Just lazy . Towards the end she didn’t wanna braid my hair more down .
