About QC Spa New York
QC NY SPA is a luxurious oasis, offering a serene escape in the heart of the city. The spa features perfectly heated outdoor pools with breathtaking city views, as well as a range of facilities including saunas, relax rooms, and steam rooms. Guests can enjoy a complimentary bathrobe, towels, and amenities, and relax with a drink or snack in the lounge chairs overlooking Battery Park and the Financial District. The manager Wilson is exceptional. The pool area is nice, and the views are spectacular. However, the pools have been noted to be lukewarm, and many of the relaxation rooms are less than ideal, featuring simple setups like a rocking chair or a mattress on the ground. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. The food options are limited to light spa snacks, which some find to be overpriced and not very good, consisting mostly of pre-made salads and small sandwiches. Despite some criticisms about the food and the atmosphere being confusing, many guests appreciate the peaceful and spacious environment, especially during quieter times. This remains a cool escape from the city, though guests are encouraged to consider their options.
Very clean facility with helpful staff. We enjoyed the many different rooms to relax and enjoy but the tight locker rooms with only one changing room (I had to change in a bathroom) and only 4 showers left me feeling cramped and uneasy. In the poolside area the lounge chairs are all on top of each other with barely leg room. Cluttered and cramped in New York style I guess can describe it. If I visit again it would be on a weekday because going on a Saturday is way too crowded. Waiting on a long line for about 20 minutes with 1 bartender (bless his soul) is also stressful because it takes away from your time. If you have a 5 hour session and spend 30 minutes between check-in...read full review
Spa was a great experience, but anything that involved service left a lot to be desired. We waited about 30 minutes for check-in, which really ate into the 5 hour timeslot we booked. Lunch service also took quite long. It would have been helpful if we could have just ordered food/drinks to be brought to us outside. More service would have been helpful, especially because our time was valuable.
Great place. Avoid the Bistro unless you have time to wait. The food was AMAZING the wait was something to be desired. 25 to order about 30-40 for a meal to arrive. They ate however SUPER accommodating. I would keep 5if the bistro was timely.Overall, BOOK IT
