About QB HOUSE TOKYO MIDTOWN EAST
QB HOUSE TOKYO offers affordable and fast haircuts in a clean and friendly environment. The salon emphasizes cleanliness by sanitizing tools for each customer. While the waiting time can vary, weekday afternoons typically see no wait. Stylists, including Toyo, are friendly and skilled, aiming to fulfill customer requests with great attention to detail. Many customers appreciate the professional service and some note the stylists' ability to cut Asian male hair effectively. However, it is important for customers to be clear with their instructions, especially if they want specific styles or to keep certain lengths. The service is often described as old school, using a combination of clippers and scissors. Overall, QB HOUSE TOKYO is a solid spot for quick haircuts, and walk-ins are encouraged for those with flexible schedules.
I walked in an hour before closing and as a first timer, all staff were very sweet.
You write your name down and have to sit inside so they can call you for your turn. I waited maybe 10 or so minutes, nothing too crazy at all as there were people ahead of me.
I’m not sure the name of my stylist, but we exchanged in small conversation as the language barrier was quite big, and overall he got the job done and did it fast.
You get what you pay for, in total it was around $35 for a haircut and a $5 tip. Honestly, not bad at all.
Sweet people, small place, and if you want a fast haircut I’d go there. Just note it will be a dry haircut cut so...read full review
This is my go-to place for haircuts last few years. The place has a chill and friendly vibe. My hairstylist, Toyo, was skillful and paid great attention to details for my haircut. He was professional and explained why he did things certain way for areas needed more volume. He kept me engaged with funny stories. I had a great time and walked out with a confident smile seeing my new haircut in the mirror. I didn't feel rushed. Will definitely come back. Thank you, Toyo!
Solid spot IF you know what you want. I don't recommend coming for style consultations. If you're an Asian male, they will know how to cut your sides. Workers are old school so its a clippers + scissor cut. Extremely important to be explicit with instructions. If you want them to leave the top, make it clear. If they think trimming this area would look better for you and you disagree, speak up.
