Stephanie is everything you'd want in an electrologist: professional, thoughtful, and most importantly, effective. She uses the blend method that is heads and tails above the thermolysis method that I'd previously tried without good results. I'm several months into treatment and it's been worth every penny.

Patiently and thoroughly explained the several options, and the reasons to use each option on various parts of the body. Made the work on a VERY sensitive area as tolerable as it could be - about 90% less painful than the last time I had something similar done - and gave me good tips for making it more bearable (including a very enjoyable one: carb-load beforehand!). Fairly priced. And best of all - a very nice person.

Outstanding electrolysis at reasonable price. Stephanie is the only electrolysist i could find who uses blended current- ie galvanic and thermolytic- to ensure the most permanent hair removal with the least pain/skin irritation. I developed coarse chin hair after menopause. Laser is not good for that and won't work at all on tough white hairs. I was searching for an electrolysist who used blended current and luckily found Stephanie. Stephanie has a lovely, clean office, close to Grand Central station. She is professional, caring, and very careful with sterility/ patient comfort. She uses gold rather than steel needles to further minimize irritation. The process was completely painless for me. She is on time, returns calls and emails promptly. Stephanie applies antiseptic and soothing post treatment lotion to ensure minimal skin irritation. She is a classically trained musician and has a very refined demeanor. You will be pampered with pillows under your legs and soothing music in the room while she works. Highly recommend Professional Electrolysis to anyone needing permanent hair removal.
