Kiana has transformed my skin!! I started seeing Kiana about a year out from my wedding. In our first appointment, she was extremely thorough in her questions about my existing routine, and then followed up with an incredibly detailed assessment of my skin, and recommendations for ways to update/optimize my routine (many products with options at a range of price points!). Each time I go back, we continue optimizing based on how my skin is doing, seasonality, activity i.e. travel, etc. After about 6 months, my skin was noticeably improved, and at 9 months, I can’t believe the difference and feel so confident about my skin before my wedding. I have extremely sensitive, acne-prone skin so finding an esthetician I trust is difficult — I’m so grateful to have had Jolie recommended to me. So many studios take a one-size-fits all approach, and Jolie does anything but. She takes the time to understand your skin and applies her extensive knowledge and understanding of the science of acne/products to get to the root of the problem. I always walk out of my (90 minute!) appointments with her feeling like she left no stone unturned and extracted every pore. Though I'm tempted to gatekeep Practise (and its star esthetician, Jolie De Feis), I can't do it in good conscience, because Jolie has singlehandedly changed my understanding of my skin and how I care for it. I've always been careful with what I do with my face, and have, over the years, gone to so many different estheticians across NYC, but it was always the same with my skin. Same issues, no solutions that worked for me. Until Jolie. Her expertise, her attention to detail (particularly in how gently and carefully she performs extractions! she's incredible!), her passion for skincare, and most importantly, her genuine warmth at the table, are unmatched.
