Posy did all the floral arrangements for my father’s memorial. They did an amazing job from start to finish - they understood my vision and executed it flawlessly, while giving me great ideas all the way. We got so much more than our money’s worth!

I'm not one to post but wow Sandra at Posy is an artist and those flowers were just spectacular. The manger at Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club where we had our daughters wedding said hands down the nicest flower arrangements he had ever seen.

We were so lucky to have Posy as our florists for our wedding. Georgeann and Sandra have been so amazing from start to finish. They were so thoughtful in talking and listening to us about our vision. They worked were so flexible and creative in coming up with ideas to work within our budget but still give us everything we wanted. The flowers were all so breathtakingly gorgeous. The coral/blush peony and rose bridal bouquets, the foliage around the chuppah and aisle at the ceremony, the Great Gatsby esque greens around our escort table, and the elegant tall white centerpieces at reception all worked so well together and made the wedding of our dreams come true. They're true artists and we were so lucky to find them. And it's women-run and operated to boot. These gals know what's up.

There are so many florists to choose from in Manhattan, it's simply overwhelming trying to figure out which to order from, based on the reviews and photos on Yelp, and their own websites, especially when ordering from afar. When I found Posy Floral Design, I stopped looking. Posy Floral didn't initially show up when I went searching for a florist shop, near where they were to be delivered, but I'm so glad I kept looking, because Posy has the absolute BEST selection of unusual arrangements I've seen anywhere, which was just what I was looking for...something spectacularly creative. So, I gave them a try, and I'm really glad I did. I've now bookmarked Posy, my 1st bookmark on Yelp, so I will remember whom to order from in the NYC area. The arrangement was for a relative who turned 100 y.o. in mid-May 2021, and would likely be rearranged by her and her daughter to fit her small apartment in Manhattan for the celebration dinner (a very small affair, thanks to COVID-19). My relative is an artist, educator, and much more. I'm not sure she's still doing much art now, but in case she is, even a little bit, I wanted to send her something to entice her creative juices, to keep her occupied for a while at least, because at that age, people don't do that much anymore, especially during this ongoing pandemic. The flowers Posy sent my relative were a HUGE hit. Her daughter called me to say they made 3 arrangements out them, and they still had some left over that she was taking home (she's also an artist). Two other family members, who also attended the birthday dinner, sent me photos of the arrangements and asked where I had ordered from, because they were so interesting and lovely. You know you've picked the right flower shop, when family (artists and avid gardeners too) are sending photos, compliments, and asking for the shop's name, and how I found them (here on Yelp). I highly recommend this floral shop, even if they are more expensive than some others. Posy is more than worth it for the unusual variety of flowers and plants included, and the creativity the florists put into each arrangement. I was so impressed by what they sent my relative that I've signed up for a monthly subscription of cut flowers to be sent to her.
