Never used this product but my credit card was charged. Spent an hour trying to communicate with customer service for a refund.

Pond 5 has awful customer service. I've called them at different times of the day, and they never answer the phone. There's no excuse for that.

Even trying to reach sales, they have no phone support. You have to email them. I had a large purchase I was going to do and needed to talk to someone right away before purchasing, but they're not available to customers. You have to either message sales, or call tech support and wait for a phone call back.

That being the case, I don't recommend them. There are many options out there for stock footage and photos, and if they can't take care of their paying customers, then they don't deserve the business.

I found pond5.com a few days ago and I started creating collections of different music and illustrations that I was planning to buy. After I had everything I needed in one of the collections, I added the items to the cart. The next day I tried to execute the order which included 10 songs and 12 illustrations for a total of around $98 dollars. The order didn't go through and before I could try again the price went UP to $267.00. I've read similar reviews about this issue and Pond5's response is that the artists are free to change the price at any time and the reason for a price increase is that the artist increased the price while people were doing checkout.
