I love this place. The clerks are efficient and no-nonsense (they expect you to know what you want!) and they will always help you find what you want, if you ask. (No one notices you if you’re just bewildered and lost. You have to speak up!) They have every possible form of elastic, buttons, clasps, buckles, fabric decorations, and sewing supplies (but no sleeve ironing boards! What’s with that?) They have embroidery floss, thank goodness. I love to just go and wander around. Possibly my favorite store in Manhattan.

Amazing place to get all your bits and bobs for projects. They have vast sections for ribbons, elastics, buttons, grommets, yarn, patches, and craft tools, etc. Little tip: You have to have someone help you as they put any loose items in a baggie for you and write the price on it. This way the cashier knows what to ring up. If you're at the cashier and you put loose items in a baggie yourself, you'll be asked to go back to the section and have someone write the prices for you.

I wish I could have given this place more stars because they do have a great selection of items; however, the customer service in the ribbon selections was horrible! There is a younger woman who works there, who can't roll ribbon to save her life! Why she works there, I have no idea. She's loud, harsh, and rude. The older ladies are much easier to work with and they know what they're doing; they're fast and they can roll ribbon without having knots or putting it on the floor.
