About Orchid Garden Spa
Orchid Garden Spa, now rebranded as V-One Nails, is a professional and friendly salon located in East Village. Customers appreciate the inviting atmosphere and the personalized attention from licensed professionals. The salon maintains high hygiene standards, using disposable buffers and files. Reviewers highlight the exceptional service provided by staff members, who are kind, patient, and detail-oriented. Many praise the quality of the gel manicure and pedicure, noting how staff test colors to find the perfect match and treat each nail as a work of art. During treatments, clients often receive complimentary shoulder or foot massages, adding to the relaxing experience. The spa is clean, although narrow, and offers good service with a variety of nail enhancements and colors. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the decline in service quality and technician experience over time, feeling that prices are high compared to the service received. Despite this, many still recommend the salon for its overall atmosphere and wide selection of nail options.
I don't often leave reviews unless I have an exceptional experience somewhere. Orchid Spa (rebranded now as V-One Nails) was easily the best nail experience I've had in NYC, and I've lived here for 3 years. I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. They went out of their way to test colors and make sure they got the closest match for my fingers and toes, which I really appreciated. The whole experience was really efficient while also having a superior level of attention to detail. This is the type of place where they treat each nail as a work of art and make sure every detail is perfect. They also gave me a complimentary 4 minute foot massage during my pedicure and a complimentary shoulder massage during my manicure. Everyone who I interacted with was so kind and friendly - I will definitely be a regular here for all my nail and spa needs moving forward.
Elin was delicate and nice. Stumbled in here while in the area and it was well worth it. Super happy that I came in here to get a gel pedicure. It was precise and relaxing. The spa itself is narrow but had good service. Clean bathroom too. I would love to come back here to experience this high quality pedicure again.
I’ve been a loyal customer for two years, but am coming to terms that the quality and service has deteriorated here. My biggest issue is that the quality of the services is so poor relative to the prices they charge. A lot of the new technicians don’t seem to have much experience or training. I paid $90 (excluding tip) for a spa gel pedicure that was really not too different from a regular gel pedicure.
