I was recommended by my sister in law to Jason Perlman for a pediatrician & i’m so happy I made the switch. Upon arrival, I noticed that the Office was clean & the staff were super friendly. My check in process was easy & receptionist was kind. All of my questions were answered and I felt really comfortable with Mr. Perlman- He let me know all the information I would be getting after the appointment & I have some weight lifted off my shoulders.
10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a pediatrician in the city!
I saw Dr. Weed for hyperpigmentation and was prescribed topicals. While that helped somewhat, what was never mentioned was the importance of prevention. I later learned that using simple over-the-counter washes with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide, combined with barrier repair, could have stopped many of the bumps that turned into dark marks in the first place. This felt like a big oversight. I wish I had been given more practical guidance earlier instead of only prescriptions. Patients dealing with pigmentation should know it’s not just about fading what’s there, it’s also about stopping new spots from forming.
Good service once I arrived at the office! Dealing with the main NYU Langone scheduling office is like a version of the Hunger Games. They have limited access to actual doctor availability.
